As the subject says what has been your favourite motherboard for your games PC's?

(I know it's a hardware question but I want to hear specifically from gamers on this)

i hear there are/were problems with some chipsets and graphics cards. Obviously that would be bad since gfx cards are at the core of gamers machines.

However ignoring the above i dont know wether different mobos have a large impact specifically on games. if a board is bad it will impact the whole pc's performance not just the games played on it.

Personally got a asus a7v266-c and works fine :) Got it as a go between after i damaged old mobo and didnt have money to fork out on my new system at the time. Next system will probably be intel.

I'd steer clear of the KT400 boards. Still no AGP 8x, restricted to 4x on my Radeon 9700 Pro. Apart from that, no probs, but it sucks not to be able to do 8x.
