Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Am guessing that he means their most recent album, Age Of The Fifth Sun, rather than an actual new album.

    completely disregard what I said there actually, the album I was refering to was not a new album, or even their most recent album haha. excuse that minor brain-fart.

    Absolutely incredible album. You can definitely hear the influence of Fields of The Nephilim, Sisters of Mercy and The Mission Uk in the songs. I'll vote for this album then.:D

    This album always make me kinda sad as they never matched it until In Requiem IMO, and some of the albums in between (the "short hair" ones...) were truly awful...

    Unusually, it was the first Anselmo album that really grabbed me. I really like the lyrics written on it.

    Funny you say that, as I wouldn't be a big Anselmo fan at all, but really like him on NOLA as well

    Yeah, it's like there's a suitably different vibe off him on N.O.L.A than what I hear on PanterA songs. Obviously it's a different band and the album was released in the latter half of PanterA's career, but N.O.L.A gave me the "Ah, right, that's the appeal" moment that made me wanna go back and give PanterA another try.
