1 - Blanchardstown by a considerable distance. Having an FM on board 1 helps! Could be as high as 1600 on board 6 too. That's stronger than when we stormed the division in 08/09 with a record score.

I really don't know much about the other clubs tbh; haven't been keeping an eye on it since we got promoted two years ago. Naomh Barróg will be interesting though - they were ridiculously out-rated in the Heidenfeld last year, but performed spectacularly well. I don't see them challenging for promotion (unless they've improved), but their squad last year was relegation strength, yet I think they'll survive ok.

Wow. Bray won their first game 5½-½, and then lost the second 6-0!

That can't have happened all that often.

Looks like an extremely close 3 horse race between Cavan, Ballinasloe and Blanchardstown.

Very impressive start by Cavan. They have already played Blanchardstown and Ballinalsoe and are well placed for a promotion push. Have a 2,000 on board 1 certainly helps.
dublin on the other hand look doomed already. Their round 5 game looks like another heavy defeat, while 3.5 points from 4 rounds is definitely relegation form.
Looking very like Cavan and the two B's for the promotion spots.

I would fancy Blanchardstown for the top spot. They have narrowly beaten us and Balinasloe so thats the potential tie breaker sorted if it even comes to that.Second will be a dog fight and Malahaide,Naomh Barrog and Rathmines are all jockeying for position along with Cavan and Balinasloe.

I would not write Dublin off just yet , they have probably the most experience of any of us! Also they have some tough matches out of the way.
That said there are an unusual number of big scores in the matches so far.

May be you should put forward a motion for LCU , requiring all team captains to send a quick text after their match , so all results could be published same day , here or on another site ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 49 hotamatua

Dont know if all captains would comply if it was passedbut I have to say nearly all captains, eventually, post results on this site.

@hotamatua .Be patient ,it will be out in a few days anyway . more important things in life to worry about than this .If a motion passed , they would comply , twitter would be where it could be posted.
