World of Warcraft Client v6.1.2 19865 Total Size

07-05-2015 8:33pm#1I recently opened a thread on the official wow forums as I was interested to know the official size of the current v6.1.2 (19865) April 3 2015 client as mine seemed rather inflated @ 31.5GB (to note, I have never reinstalled the client after reformatting and changing hdd's I have only ever copied and pasted since I first downloaded it years ago). Also the install on my laptop is a whopping 55GB and contains redundant *.mpq files and update files that are no longer needed, a previous update re structured the data files but for some reason did not run to clean up the install on my laptop.
After re-downloading the entire client and assessing what a fresh install should look like I thought I would post it here for anyone interested.
The Total Directory size is 27.4GB
The viewable contents for World of Warcraft root are 74.4MB
The viewable contents for World of Warcraft\Data are 68.5MB
The viewable contents for World Of Warcraft\Data\data are 27.3GB
