Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Dundrum Late Night Taxi Availability

Rather than waiting in the stephen's green taxi queues, I was thinking of getting the LUAS to dundrum where there's a rank just outside the night club. A taxi fare to my house from there is roughly 4-5 euro. Just wondering does anyone know what that rank's like after say 12am?

If the fair is only EUR4-5, would you not be able to walk it?

Thats only a couple of Ks with the new fares and the walk after a feed of beers would do you good:D

I've never seen that rank with many taxis on a weekend but it's sometimes quite full during the week around that time. Not sure you will be so lucky over xmas. You're probably better off geting a luas to ranelagh or something and looking for a taxi coming back into town.
