Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Gospel Choir in Inchicore looking for new members...no audition necessary!!!

    The Oblate Gospel Choir in Inchicore, Dublin 8 is recruiting new members. After a very successful inaugural year, the choir is expanding and is hosting an Open Night on Thursday September 1st for all prospective new members.

    We rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening from 7.00 - 9.00pm in the grounds of Mary Immaculate Church on Tyrconnell Road. The Musical Director is a former singer/arranger and conductor of The Dublin Gospel Choir.

    Currently the choir has approximately 25-30 members and we are interested in recruiting both male and females over the age of 18. No experience is necessary as there is no audition and no requirement to read music. All new members will have a short vocal assessment in order to be assigned to the relevant harmony line. More details will be supplied on request.

Due to the phenomenal interest in this, the choir has decided to continue the recruitment drive for the rest of September!!!

    We rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening from 7.00 - 9.00pm in the Arus Mhuire Hall on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore. The Musical Director is a former singer/arranger and conductor of The Dublin Gospel Choir.

    Currently the choir has approximately 40 members and we are interested in recruiting both male and females over the age of 18. No experience is necessary as there is no audition and no requirement to read music. All new members will have a short vocal assessment in order to be assigned to the relevant harmony line.
