    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can offer advice on where or how to brush on my IFRS knowledge.

I am a qualifed CIMA member and I am thinking of looking for a new job which I expect to be a step up. In my roles heretofore I haven't had much need for IFRS application so it is something that I feel needs to be brushed up on as many job descriptions have it as a requirement.

I know there is a course run by Chartered Accountants Ireland but it is quite expensive and I'm not in a position to fund it myself. If I wasn't thinking of leaving my current role I would have no hesitation in asking my employers to fund it. However, I don't want to end up having to commit to the company unncessarily.

Is there any alternatives or can anyone recommend any books or manuals that might be helpful?

    All comments and advice welcome.

    Thanks.

IFRS course on in Independent Colleges which is in association with ACCA. A lot cheaper than the Chartered Accountants course
