    I would like to start a general
    bodybuilding discussion (lifting nutrition ans supplements etc)
    anyone is welcome to join in
    I got Kinetica Protein for christmas an irish brand and its pretty good
    has anyone else tried this ?
    I also got some lifting straps for use with my home made dip/chinning belt and rowing and shrugging etc.
    Anyone else have straps ? what type ?

    If you time it right you can get a whole roast chicken in Tesco for €2.75. Defo my favourite brand of nutrition, I've eaten 3 for lunch this week :pac:

    You haven't lived until you've learned to time when shops knock down the prices of perishables with a surplus. Normally €5 for a whole roast chicken, but late at lunchtime or just before closing, €2.75 for 1400g of lean meat.

    have you tried the tesco cream cheese mixed with strawberry yogurt
    its really creamy filling and has about 30g of protein per tub

    If i wear jeans that fit round my waist they never get past my thighs
    i have to buy huge jeans and wear a belt
    thank god for hi-tops or my cuffs would be on the floor ha

    If you're hungry in between meals, eat cashew nuts or some fruit


    WARNING: Do not waste your money on protein shakes / weight gainer / creatine if you're going to be eating in burger king 4 times a week. Waste of €70 a month.

    Whats the difference between the occasional Burger King and an equivalent amount of Beef/Brown Rice/Nuts.

    I want to know why you think its "bad" choice when bulking. I'm to suggesting that its soemthing to build a diet around, but its a ahndy way to get calories in when you need them.

    The reason its not a great meal choice in general is the high calories. But thats not an issue for most people when bulking. The meat is 100% beef, so not process in the normal sense of the word. The ratio of fats to carbs to protein isn't ideal. But you could easily adjust that in other meals.

    In the meal plan you posts. It looks too low in fat and too low in calories for bulking. you won't make progress without the calories regardless of how clean you eat.
    Brown rice no better than white rice is this regard. Occasionally getting your carb and fats from chips and a burger bun isn't going to ruin all your good work in the gym.

    Kinetica protein i found good but bit heavy. Tried the new thermo whey and is stunning peach yogurt, tasty. Bought it off the lads at Top Pro Supplements. But would deffo recommend.
