    Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any night classes that will run in Weford town this Autumn/Winter or where I could find information about any that are running? I had a look on the Wexford VEC website and many towns are running a great variety of classes icluding languages, massage, cookery, yoga etc but none in Wexford town. I think there was a problem getting someone to oversee it all

    From http://www.wexfordvocational.com/
Please note that due to the moratorium on public sector recruitment there will be no night classes at Wexford
Vocational College for the Autumn term 2010.

I had heard rumours that there were going to be no classes this term.

It seems a pity that all other VEC's can manage it, but the county town can't!

Dinkie you're right, it is a real pity :( That's very frustrating now I must say

You wouldn't happen to know where I might find information about any others that are running? I've tried the local paper and googling hasn't come to much. There are pilates and yoga classes in the gyms but for other areas of interest....:)

What type of stuff are you looking for? There is a notice board in the Arts Centre with info about the camera club, art classes, music classes, etc.

The nightcourses for the other towns won't probably be published for another couple weeks. I think it is normally late Aug/early Sept before they are published.

    Hey Dinkie,

I must check that out so! I do like photography :) What is the age group there? I suppose any kind of classes or clubs that would be good for meeting people and socialising as I don't know a soul here yet (I know I asked about that before but having difficulty finding anything, maybe I'm looking in wrong places  ). Everyone is soooo friendly though it's pleasantly surprising so I'm hopeful :D

The evening classes generally start within a couple of weeks of the secondary schools opening again-keep an eye on the local press.

Gorey & Enniscorthy will have a large number of classes this autumn.
A bit of a drive but a great selection on offer!
    Its worth considering.
