    Hey,

    Check this out
    magicseaweed.com/UK-Ireland-Surf-Chart/1/

    Go to Wednesday.

As you can see, it is in BLACK. 50 feet.

I'm not a professional surfer, but does this mean the waves will be massive?.

    Any idea?.

    magicseaweed.com/news/black-wednesday-storm-big-wave-breakdown/7035/

    - We discussed at the time how those created waves for many locations into the sort of size range that might be expected only every 50 years or so.

    Thank you.

    Yes.

And with 50 knots onshore winds forecast, it'll be really really unpleasant...

Lahinch due a bigger smashing than in January maybe. The low that created this is 930mBar. Last jan was 950 or so wasnt it?

That storm hit from the south west at a super high tide - this one hopefully won't be so bad for lahinch but the coastline around strand hill could take a major pounding

In this kind of swell nowhere will be nice - it will be big and very out of control.

Might bring the BIC down to Lahinch. It'll be easy to get in the high water at high tide.

I'm told that magic mushrooms are best consumed raw.

Dont think this one will be as bad for Lahinch cos its hitting at a lower tide. Probably see the usual shots coming out of Mullaghmore!
Would love to head West and have a look! But wont be able

Looks like the East coast will get some wrap around on Thursday morning from the size of the storm, wonder would it be any use or too windy and messy.

Check out Bundoran RNLI or TurfnSurf or Surf World or Surf Co. on Facebook for pictures of Bundoran and Mulaghmore yesterday, last night and today.

mightn't have been good surf but some top kiters were flown in by red bull to see if they could pull some huge kiteloops. They were out up in Donegal yesterday.

I went to Lahinch at high tide during the storm, it wasn't much to write home about.
Maybe if the tide was higher and there was 2 extra seconds between the waves and the swell direction was different, then it would have been disastrous.
