GoT characters in other shows/movies

There's something like this in the Wire forum and it's a bit of fun.

You have the likes of Mackenzie Crook in The Office and Charles Dance in loads of things like Ali G inda House that a lot of people will have seen but was watching the pilot of the Borgias and the guy who plays Sam was playing a cardinal

Iwan Rheon was in Misfits, and Hannah Murray and Joe Dempsie were both in the first two series of Skins

Lena Headey (Cersei) was in the new Judge Dredd film as the villain; 'Mama'.

Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) was in 'In Brugges' as a drunk, coked up hilarious American.

Nicolai Coster Waldau (Jaime Lannister) was in a (Swedish?) film called Headhunters. Also in the recent film Oblivion.

Sean Bean was Ned Stark. Boromir in LOTR, Tadgh in The Field, loads of films as the villain.

Francis McGee is an Irish actor who acted in Eastenders. He played Yoren in GOT. In a series called House of Anubis. Also in the new Bulmers ad.

Jack Gleeson plays Joffrey. He had a bit part in Batman Begins.

Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth. Again, he was a ton of stuff, from First Knight to The Wind that shakes the Barley.

Dinklage was not in In Bruges. He was in Death At A Funeral, though.

Ciaran Hinds also played Julius Caesar in Rome, and Edmure Tully is played by Tobias Menzies, who played Brutus also in Rome.

When GoT is finished for this season, if you haven't watched Rome, and need a fix of costumes, violence and sex, and if you haven't already watched it, Rome is brilliant.

Aiden Gillen (Littlefinger) was in The Wire as Tommy Carcetti and also in the opening scene of Dark Knight Rises with Bane in the plane

Jorah Mormont was in the Weeping Angels two-part story of Doctor Who series 5.

Mark Addy (Robert Baratheon) was in The Full Monty and a few ITV/BBC drama/comedy type shows I think.

Can't really remember his name but the Mormont who is in charge of the Night's Watch played a priest in Season 3 of Sons of Anarchy.

The Hound was the guy who goes "Yarp" in Hot Fuzz (couldn't believe it when I found that out

)

Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) was Nathan's mother in about 2 episodes of Misfits, and I think was also Hermione's mother in Harry Potter and Deadly Hallows Pt1 but didn't have any lines.

Paul Kaye (Thoros of Mir) was in a bunch of British stuff too, notably portraying a comedy character called Dennis Pennis who'd take the p*ss out of celebrities).

Mark addy, not little. is king Bob B. He was also in a knights tale which (ive been told) was loosely based on dunk and egg, a game of thrones spinoff book.

The one that plays Margery Tyrell had a small part in Captain America, she was the blonde one that cornered him and snogged him.

Peter Dinklage's best ever role (imo) is not as Tyrion but was in a little film called The Station Agent that I really urge everyone to watch.

Julian Glover, who plays Grand Maester Pycelle, was the bad guy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
