Fly wheel removal tool

I need this tool to repair my bike and halfords doesn't have the correct one I need.

I also need a 6.5 inch rear axle.

Where would I get these in South dublin?

Or any idea how much a shop would charge to do the repair.

What bike is it and what are you actually looking to repair/replace???

A rear axle on the mountain bike is bent, 165mm x 9.5mm. Shimano Fly wheel is in the way of removing in it.

Freewheel, rather than fly wheel?

If so, is it an old-fashioned screw-on freewheel? Shops should still have the tool to remove that. Looks like this:

Some free hubs are are removed with a 10mm or 11mm allen wrench. You need to take the cassette off first.

That looks to be the one all right but saying that so was the one, I purchased in halfords but unfortunately it was slightly too big.

It'd be about 30quid to replace the axle in a cheap mountain bike wheel in my local bike shop, presume most shops around Dublin would charge similar. For not much more money you could replace the whole wheel though.

Yeah to remove the cassette, I would have to get at the freewheel with a special type of socket. I don't see anything that an allen wrench would fit.

After a wipe down of all the grease, it's actually a sunrun freewheel and Shimano cassette

I'll go the new wheel route or talk to the guy in dolphins barn about replacing the axel.

The axel and tool would of cost me €27 in halfords, if they had of had it in store at the time.
