I thought we played really well yesterday and Bosnia are defintely not an easy team to beat. They were unlucky to miss out on the Euros.

I personally wouldn't start criticizing players over a warm-up game as it doesn't mean much (bar the FIFA World Rankings) as it is a game to get sharpness before the big tournament.

Some people are just determined to be negative. If Ireland had lost, some would have said the team is rubbish and don't deserve to be going to the Euros. If they had tonked Bosnia, some would say the result means nothing because Ireland were facing a team who weren't bothered. I think a more balanced view is to say it was a tidy performance against a team who posed a threat. A huge middle portion of the game was very much Ireland's usual disappointing home performance but they got going for the last 30 minutes if only just to remind people that they can actually play a bit sometimes.

Enjoyed the game Saturday! Thought we played some great stuff at times. 3-0 wouldn't have flattered us!
It was the most attacking performance we've put in in a while. Promising signs for next month.

Btw, just a heads up... I couldn't commit to going to the game until Saturday morning, so had no tickets. Was offered two for face value outside the ground... tickets looked perfect (identical to the real deal. Hologram intact etc..), but when going through the turnstiles they wouldn't scan.
What kind of scumbag prints fakes for a meaningless friendly?!
Luckily, there was about 15,000 empty seats in the ground, so the security guy took pity on us and let us in anyway, but still, I didn't think that kind of thing would go on for friendly games like that!
