Pubs and other places in the same business line:

    * Manchester. DJ getting a blow-job while working standing at the decks.
    * Co Meath. Girl in beer-garden too lazy to go to the ladies so in front of her mates and others there just hunched down, pulled down the underwear and did what came natural. Place fairly busy but toilets was empty at time.
    * 18 year old giving a hand job to 36 year old boyfriend at bar. Bar in Co Meath
    * Manchester. 17 year old giving oral to a lad at a disco with friends all around.
    * Bolton. Security man caught getting blow-job at front door off someone who turned out to be 16 - he fired on the spot, she escorted to police (to take her home) with video evidence (2 cameras above entrance doorway) of doorman's activity for possible charges.
    * London. Owner of huge disco shagging his mistress across table while her younger sister looked on.
    * Too many known DJ's off their heads with drugs while working.
    * England. Man stabbed to death Fight over drug territory.
    * Toilet found dismantled in the middle of a busy rave dance floor.

    I could go on...

****ing hell you must go to some dingy places

One of the most depressing things was seeing a 14 year old working as a prostitute as a side laneway next to an Irish ("Durty Nellies") pub in Bradshawgate, Bolton, England (across the road from "The Pack Horse" another then Irish bar).

She was CLEARLY very young and looked like she had been abused a few times. Naturally, we brought it to the attention of the proper authorties.

A guy who had been asleep on a high stool in the middle of the lounge, stand up, take two steps and take his lad out for a slash.

its been that way for a while. I was last there around April this year on a thursday night and the were throwing everyone out at half 1. Thats nothing new, but lately there's been rumours among students that they have lost their late licence altogether

Reasonably priced Guinness that didn't taste like somebody had blown their nose in it.

A hippie neclace weaver artesan dude who got stabbed by a punk-rocker clown juggler guy 7 times in the chest and died on the doorstep of the bar next door to my house.

Depends on the pub - if it's a Café en Seine type establishment, someone who isn't a wanker.

Two big ex-military russians in a bar. Whatever was said, next thing we knew one had broken a glass on the edge of a table and shoved the base with its broken jagged edge, into the others neck.
Naturally INSTANTLY there was a lot of screaming and blood everywhere.
Took a lot of lads with equipment, to take the attacker down.

Jaysus Biggins I think you should start a Most depressing/horrifying thing you've seen in a pub what with 14 year old abused hookers and attempted murders etc.

Give it time, life brings many such experiences with age.
Some I'm trying hard to forget. They still genuinely haunt me.

I knew a girl who was in the pub in Finglas there a year or two ago where your man got his hand chopped off with a sword.

    That was pretty unusual.

You mention things like that and some don't think such things happen but they do.
I had two friends of mine attacked by a lunatic with a replica samurai sword in a disco bar once.
They were fine, they knew how to handle the situation but sure as hell, they weren't expecting it.
It was a quiet chap that just snapped with stress that had been bubbling away for a while!
