Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Heading to berlin next week with a mate and staying near Schoenberg which seems to be the main gay area.

    Anyone any tips for bars / clubs? From a look online it seems there's a lot of bars aimed at certain festishes with dress codes etc but just looking for your standard bars and clubs that'll go on till the next morning Any tips appreciated.

    There are loads - Dietrichs, Blond, Sharon Stonewall, Barbies, Blue Boy, Toms, Roses and Himmelreich are some of the more well known

    You won't have any trouble finding somewhere pretty good and they're not all specialised or fetish oriented. Berlin is easy to get around, even late at night / early in the morning so it's handy enough to travel to different clubs and bars all across the city.

    Prinzknecht is an awesome bar, you have pretty much the entire spectrum of people there, vanilla to kinky, young to old. Super atmosphere and great music to boot. It's on Fuggerstraße, pretty much down the road from Motzstraße (which would be said fetish street in terms of shops) Found myself fairly impressed with German drinks prices compared to here.

    Berlin is a brilliant place for a trip and even if you don't find yourself fetish-orientated, just see what it has to offer in all regards.

    Make sure to check Potemkin at Viktoria-Luize-Platz for some fantastic brunch. They do the best Long Island Iced Tea I've ever had too, delicious and was stumbling out of the place after it ;)

    Don't leave without having experienced KaDeWe just off Wittenbergplatz either, you can catch it on the S2 on U-Bahn I believe (the one that goes to Pankow). Won't say too much about it, it'll make your jaw drop when you see it.
