It won't be Brian Kerr, it won't be Scully and it won't be Gannon. It will almost certainly be either Heary or a Mahon/Gill team job and I'd be lumping my money on to the former if the bookies gave enough of a ****e about the LOI to put odds up.

They don't do betting on next LOI managers as the market isn't big enough to cover them being caught out with inside info.
They did it for Shams after O Neill as they obviously thought the market would be big enough. Like Shams themselves they wrongly thought they were a big club. There was no betting available on the next Sligo Rovers manager. |

For me, it was obviously a rep thing for him. The letter and the protest gave him the opportunity to walk out claiming to be the victim of the nasty fans, rather than leaving as the manager who quit because he had only won 3 games in the last 27.
