ah man them wheels are making me drool :D.. Mint car.. Where did you get your milltek exhaust

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,587 ✭✭✭tossy

The milltek came straight from milltek themselves via AMD technik in essex as milltek don't make them anymore it was a special order put together by a few V6 owners.

the wheels are filthy in those pics!

none taken, I'm not a fan of it either! would change it for the r32 stuff but it's pretty expensive and have other things higher up on my priority list!
Its got nice recaros in it though, which makes the interior nice imo that and the fact that my gauges now light up the same colour blue as the dash.

Its a petrol, just got the usuals done to it, new filter, and remap to 200bhp.

Really need to get the RC's. My car is crying out for them. They are the dogs!!!!

    This was the car that started my modified car bug;

    PC040035.jpg

Then I got bored and went rwd

    R32Left1.jpg

Then I decided to get all respectable but had a tough time selling the binliner so I took a trade in of this!

    P9270139.jpg

I took a trade in on the civic and got this (which is for sale)

    Ek9 B16b stock details:

    1997-2000 Civic Type R[EK9]
    Displacement: 1595 cc
    Compression: 10.8:1
    Bore: 81mm
    Stroke: 77.4mm
    Rod/Stroke ratio: 1.84:1
    Rod Length: 142.42 mm (5.607")
    Power: 180hp (134 kW) @ 8200 rpm & 115 ft·lbf (155 Nm) @ 7500 rpm
    Redline: 8400 rpm
    Transmission: S4C With LSD
    0-80 High 5's

VTEC is notoriously difficult to dyno proprly, it can "trick" the dyno a bit the way it works so I wouldn't take one printout as hard evidence, I have heard b16's with upwards of 210 - 220 bhp though but they have lots of work tune including serious re mapping

Cant understand how he hasn't been banned yet, not once have I seen him (her?) post anything helpfull in the modified motors section.

I had to "mod" my Teg to get it back to standard :D

I'm actually thinking of mixing and matching... I like the anni front valance (same as yours ;) ), r32 side skirts, and cant decide which exhaust to get... and this will decide my rear valance! (anni or v6 style) so it'll b a mix of all my fav golfs! won't be happening until i start proper work though, as i want to get the paint done professionally etc etc...

Nice wheels draff.... much prefer that than the usual white teggys i see around.. What zorst you got on it?

Jeez dirty_diesel you get bored quick dont ya! whats on the cards for you next? I liked the passat. but then I would wouldnt I.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,587 ✭✭✭tossy

Lads dont know if you are aware of the R line back bumper, but it is the nicest golf rear bumper in my opinion,if i had of kept my golf i was going to get one, seriously rare and can be expensive but i love them.

you can get them with or with out the exhaust cutout, the exhaust cutout is the same size as the anni one,i myself do prefer twin exhausts though like on my bora.
