Nope, the Nogger had vanilla ice-cream, a feast has chocolate ice-cream, I miss the Nogger, I'm not a fan of chocolate ice-cream.

BTW, I can't imagine walking into any shop for a Golly Bar or a Chilly Willy now, PC gone mad

I think that tree was , or at least this has reminds me of a second "growing tree"

Dunnes in the Ilac centre in Dublin? anyone remember. you'd go in to the shop, and as the mammies were shopping myself and tens of other children would be mesmerised by this tree behind a fence, you'd press a big red button and the tree would "wake up" and open (her??) eyes and would say "hello, Im the growing tree...." (cant remember the rest of what it said)

This would have been in the old Ilac centre, brown floors, and a sweet factory under the glass lifts, and lots of little storage garages that people would sell stuff just around from more street, where the Maldron hotel and apartments are now.

After school, hand behind the TV trying to tune CITV to "barely watchable" levels (A choice between decent picture / horrible sound or horrible picture / decent sound), then watch Fun House, always wishing I had those karts

If you get Challenge TV I seen that Friday nights at 10pm (what a bloody awful time) there are showing repeats of Fun House & Knightmare - another great kids TV show
