Picked up last night. My new daily set of wheels.

Proper turf-burner that. Even runs perfectly on veg-oil. And a bullet proof engine.

nice example of a 325tds, I'd like one of them in that spec if I'm honest. Looks minded.
    Well wear!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

Thanks. It's actually a 318tds. I don't know if the previous owner just changed the badge or the whole boot from a 325.

Just a snap looking shiney and the alloys (I'm in love with them) , will be changing the centre caps soon to suit the red theme.

The wing is off the Trafic because I had some welding to do to a dodgy door hinge.

Thank you, I initially wanted a 205 but there were none for sale at the time and this was the oldest 106 available at the time so I went for it.

The colour is nice, very modern, I think. I'm just the second owner too, its been kept in good order.

I'm just using it to tide me over until January. The Golf is off the road for a while. I will probably hang onto it (the 106) regardless.

There was a very clean 1994 example in the bangernomics thread about a month ago, I think it only had done around 40k miles :)

i was just going to add that the colour is probably what has kept it looking so fresh. i would certainly hold onto it if you have somewhere to put it, its a certain future classic.

I saw that, €250 if I remember correctly. I considered buying it and using it as a source of spares for my own but that would quickly become an expensive parts car considering what I paid for mine.

I do have the space to keep it. At the minute I have my Golf, Honda Legend, camper and until recently, Renault 5 in storage for the Winter months. I do what ever jobs any one of them may need when I get the time.

I know. Its my ad, I'll remove it when I can but if someone wants to give me €250 in the meantime then I'll happily part with it.

I don't suppose any of you are into bikes? These are some of my Dad's. No interest in them myself. I know one is a Harley and the other a Ducati.

    I'd have the Italian.
    Wouldn't be mad into Harleys.

    Van looks great. :)

The Ducati gets the most use. The Harley is a garage ornament more than anything - it only has a couple of thousand miles up.

The van is coming along nicely, I've filled, primed and sprayed the few rust holes though I'm still shopping around for respray prices..
