Is there some EU conspiracy going on against this berry? So many places in IE/UK are out of stock. Am after ordering a pack on ebay but the main sites selling these are all out of stock or have stopped selling to EU for some reason.

Wikipedia is your friend

The berry is on the EU list of Novel Foods. Which means it can't be sold as food or used as a food additive. Food items may stay in this form of limbo until a sufficiently deep-pocketed corporate entity invests in the testing and certification required.
