    I've read on how to fart around the registry for non-Steam versions of the game. However, it is a bit troublesome looking for an answer for the Steam version. The "solutions" I have ran into didn't really help.

    I understand the game is natively played in 4:3, and it isn't a game-breaker for me at all. I'm just exploring my options if there is a possibility of ever being able to play it in 16:9 resolutions. Is there?

    Thanks in advance :)

    I saw this on Wide Screen Gaming Forums but the instructions seemed to focus on the normal version of the game and not the Steam version;

    The steam one is known for having poor compatibility with mods. I stopped buying their games as a result of their DRM.

    Morrowind Graphics Extender will allow you to run at any resolution, though if I recall correctly, it runs in a window for some of the unofficial resolutions. It also allows you to increase viewable land distance to impressive ranges, though it can bring even powerful computers to their knees when coupled with texture mods.
