Normal league format. 3 divisions. Top 3 in each get trophies (no playoffs). Matches on Thursdays W1-W14. Top 2 promote and bottom 2 relegate (obviously excluding the very very top and bottom boards teams). Non-acceptance of fixture results in a 2 point deduction. Bonus point for scoring 4 tries and for losing by 7 or less points.

Can someone mail the teams involved to ensure their still in?

I will email phonehead (and Jims + eoferrall if they pm my their email) with the fixture lists in the next day or so.

If you accept a competition fixture it will overright the friendly you already accepted (I think)

It rolled forward from last year unfortunately. There are still a number to accept fixtures.

Mar-z, should we have a deadline, that if people have not accepted their fixtures they get replaced by teams waiting to get in?

I wonder if Div III could be made bigger until there are enough for a div IV because to be fair to you, you could be waiting a long time for a Div IV

It would have to take a different structure then, as home and away matches cover the 14 weeks. only way around would be splitting in two and then in the final weeks (as they'd have less matches in smaller group) the top teams effectively play off for promotion to div II?

That's the only way round it I see?

stick it up on the site yeah, see if we can get another 4 in the next couple of days before say Wednesday to give time to sort fixtures and people accept them.

Battai might want in as he was very active on the cu culan cup.

Could incluse a semi and final (or a two legged semi and final) but that would be an awful lot of playing the same teams.

Yeah its the main problem with adding divisions. A season or two of steady numbers will do wonders for balancing out the leagues a lot better.
