A few years one evening back when the OH and I first co habited I sat beside her with a bowl of Rice Krispies and started to eat. She was dumb founded as to why anyone would eat cereal in the evening and never came across this phenomenon before.
Do you ever eat cereal in the afternoon - evening as a snack?

Do you eat cereal outside breakfast hours? 25 votes

A big bowl of Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes just before bed is the job!

Yeah I do this the whole time as my snack after dinner!

If it's something really nice like crunchy nut feast I'll probably have two bowls :D

Is that as bad as eating curry left overs and cold pizza for breakfast

Of course. Sure wasn't it even on a Corn Flakes ad back sometime in the 90's? Eating cereal at night is done all the time by normal people.

Also, you can eat popcorn with watching a movie. Fact!

Great as a stomach lining snack before going out for the night!

And they say people aren't brainwashed by advertising.

If I have it in the house and I'm feeling very lazy I'll have a bowl of cereal. :)

People say we should be reversing our meals and having dinner sized meals for breakfast and breakfast-like meals for dinner.

That's my justification of it if you catch me eating all of last nights curry in the morning!

You could always have the choco wheetabix, much healthier I would think.

Did you hear about the illegitimate rice krispie?
    he had no pop

I don't usually buy yummy sugary delicious cereal, because if I did, I'd eat it all at all meal times and as snacks in between. I bought rice krispies to make mars bar squares for the beers last week and I keep having a sneaky bowl of them.

I wouldn't be a fan of those now.

    Your OH is weird.

Cereal is the food of gods and far, far too often I've eaten it for every single meal of the day. (I used to have a serious addiction to the stuff. Think I'm starting to get over it though.)

Commercial cereals are so laden with sugar they're more of a dessert than anything else anyway.

I always thought that this was a very Irish thing. Especially if the fridge was bare late at nite. Nothing worse than a growling stomach at bedtime.
