Doesn't really matter - They're just going to be seeing that it's to go to whatever town/city in Ireland. When it gets here, the local guys will figure where it's supposed to go as long as it makes sense. A few zeroes won't throw them off.

Just a quick question about amazons delivery I'll be using parcel motel in Dublin as I will be travelling there next week anyway, and I was just wondering how long it usually takes from the day you order to the day it arrives?
I used that flubit site to get a better price on a 7870 joker xt never settle bundle and the price they gave me was £159.72 so it seems to good not to order really!

This is what I used with them in November, so the info may have changed (not sure), but it went fine back then - paying through AIB.

Receiver Details Receiver name: HARDWAREVERSAND.DE GMBH
    Receiver IBAN: DE73440100460731239469
    Receiver bank SWIFT Address/BIC: PBNKDEFF
Receiver bank name: DEUTSCHE POSTBANK AG
Receiver bank address: 242, ECKENHEIMER LANDSTRASSE
Destination country of receiver's bank: GERMANY
Sender's message for receiver: Black Oil ORDER 1234567890

Perhaps a more recent buyer from them can confirm for you. Are you missing a 9 on the IBAN there?

I haven't used BoI so I couldn't tell you for sure what works, but just looking over your build, I think you'd be better off with a 970 board such as this for the sake of SATA 6Gbps in case you want an SSD in there. I'd also consider the WD Blue for longer warranty but performance is much the same so that's not much of a big deal.

Edit: Er... ignore that actually, I see that you went with a 990FX board. I was looking at the earlier post with the 760G. Not worth messing with your order over a hard drive.

Anyone have any experience / tips with getting Hardwareversand to ship part of you order before waiting on another part to arrive?

Last Monday order was approved for delivery so I called them up on Tuesday when status had not changed and asked was there anything wrong or was this standard. They informed me the mouse pad I'd ordered was out of stock and they were waiting on a replacement which should arrive on the 2nd April. So I said okay that's fine I can wait for that and asked was it possible to ship the rest of the order first and they said no so I let it go as it's only a few more days.

I get an email earlier today saying the mouse pad won't be here until the 6th April now which means it'll be well into the 10th of April if not later until I get my order (mouse pad is roughly 2% of the order's total price). So I'm wanting to know is there anything I can do to push these guys to send everything on Tuesday and either credit me for the mouse pad or ship it when it arrives in or has anyone any other tips?

Man that's a joke. I would try to get them to ship separately my or change it for a mouse pad that is in stock. Wouldn't be taking no for an answer basically.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,299 ✭✭✭✭BloodBath

Just change the mousepad? No point holding the whole order up over a mousepad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,473 ✭✭✭R0ot

Not sure if it's due to the Stock being delayed on their side but the guy I spoke to this time was very helpful and said the rest of my order would be here this week and the mouse pad would ship when it arrives. Result! +1 for HWS

no word yet from hws about my shipment

Roughly how long does it take to your items from hardwareversand? Money left my account today, standard payment. The item is in stock. Just trying to get a timeline on delivery.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,710 ✭✭✭Monotype

Week or so following payment. Could be here by Friday if they ship it off fast, otherwise maybe Monday.

Money received by HWVS on a Friday, shipped same day and received on the following Wednesday.

It actually looked like UPS held the delivery up by a day as it was only standard shipping.

Any of youse ever had to contact Aria.co.uk's customer service? How long do they usually take to reply?

Got an e-mail from them requesting proof of address because I had been flagged for some fraud thing and shot them a reply with proof attached within 10 minutes. Still haven't heard anything back 2 days later and my order is still stuck on processing.

Wouldn't mind but I've ordered three things with <20 units left in stock and am a bit worried they'll be sold out before support gets back to me.

Has HWVS shipping costs gone down? I was just doing a dummy build and noticed that instead of €20, it's displaying as €11.99 for me. (Monitor and a PC case)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,767 ✭✭✭SterlingArcher

They do go up and down. Like a specials . Had same thing going few month back.

That's nice actually. It's probably a reduced rate for when you pruchase one or only a few items. I can't imagine ordering a whole rage of stuff is still only 12 euro, could be wrong though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 626 ✭✭✭Seaaan

Yeah I bought a graphics card ssd and adaptor for 12€ shipping

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,299 ✭✭✭✭BloodBath

That's the new shipping cost afaik. I ordered parts for 3 pc's and it was still that price.

Coil whine from the XFX 750 in your sig by any chance the reason for a new PSU? Nice build BTW

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,293 ✭✭✭N64

Remember when the shipping costs were €30 with DHL a few years back? It's surprising that the costs are going down! This kinda makes HWVS worthwile for single purchases now I guess.

I ordered my parts from them last build, never had to contact their cs department though.

Are hardwareversand pretty much the only place you guys go for parts nowadays?

Hardwareversand are good for overall being cheaper. I find that you can often find that some parts are cheaper elsewhere. Monitors can be cheaper on scan.co.uk, sometimes PSUs too, depending on what you are looking for (HWV usually offers better budget PSUs though). Dell monitors usually seem cheapest on komplett. Dabs can have some random dips in prices as well. They sometimes do discounts to make it more worthwhile. Amazon seem to be the best for SSDs at the moment.

Full builds are usually cheaper for HWV, but if you want to get maximum value, you should shop around. Also, they wouldn't have some specialist stuff like watercooling, last time I checked.

Not at all man, haven't had the slightest bit of trouble for the XFX 750w. Can't hear a thing form it. Need something with a bit more grunt for the 290s in crossfire is all.

I haven't been shopping for any parts in a year or two, it's a shame the OP isn't more organised.
