Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    God, if only that were true in life.

    The vast majority of people (not just men, women also) that I know, that have been walked on and treated like crap by the opposite sex, did nothing to those that treated them that way. In fact, if anything - I think the nicer people are, the worse they get treated sometimes.

    So, "treat someone like sh1t and you in turn won't get treated like sh1t" may be a good motto in life, but it ain't no asshole/bitch repellant, unfortunately.

    There's always going to be a**holes, and I don't think anyone would argue that all Irish women are amazing creatures. Like men, some of them are awesome, some of them are insufferable, and a lot of them fall somewhere in between those extremes.
    The a**holes will take advantage of respectful people, but many many more will respond positively to it.

    The problem is when people like our recently banned comrade (I genuinely can't remember which username he was using) take the worst of Irish women to be representative of them all.

    I met an ex of mine recently, she is 41 now and I got a terrible shock. She has turned into an orange. She literally is as wide now as she is tall and her complexion is flushed, I assume from struggling to get around. This was a woman that was absolutely beautiful looking and who took pride in her appearance.
    It is amazing how in 5 years someone can change so dramatically.

    My brother reckons she has lost the battle with the demon that lives inside her and the evil within is manifesting itself in her appearance.

    Maybe they relish the opportunity to let themselves go and be treated as normal by other women? Haven't you read Samantha Bricks insightful article? Being beautiful leads to nothing but abuse from other women, maybe they're doing it on purpose to fit it? (or maybe they've overindulged on all the champagne and other freebies beautiful women supposedly get presented with at every opportunity and its beginning to take its toil as they hit late 30s/early 40s)
