Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Hearing dogs - is there a demand?

    Hi all!

    First off, admin please delete if this isn't appropriate, I did check the charter and I didn't find any rules about posting surveys.

    Folks, I'm trying to find out if there is a want or need for hearing dogs in this country? So far I am only aware of one service provider but please correct me if I'm wrong. I've put together a very short (9 questions) survey, if you would be so kind as to take a few moments to complete, I would very much appreciate that.

    There is unquestionably a demand however, thanks to the efforts of Liveline, people are extremely wary of commercial companies offering supposedly trained dogs.

    There is also a general lack of understanding in Ireland of what assistance dogs can do. AFAIK there isn't an Irish charity.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
