Posting a photo of a net is one thing... but I wouldn't advise anyone to post pictures of people allegedly illegally fishing.

It could have legal implications under the privacy/data protection and defamation legislation.

Better to report the culprits to the authorities and let them investigate the matters.

By all means take as much photos as you can BUT

better email your photos to the guards/FB and let them do what their paid to do....you could prejudice a case....or something like that.

Do not post photos and allegations of posting on this site. You leave yourself and boards.ie open to legal action for defamation.

Feel free to do it on your site though.

No. Boards.ie is potentially liable as publisher.

If you want to take the risk, you publish the pics or videos on your own site. Then you are solely responsible and liable.

ok no problem - send the photos to the gards... then... either way it will put pressure on the poachers

    Away for a while lads.
Encouraging people to take photos of poachers wouldn't be a great idea. They aren't the type of people who smile for photos.
