Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Charter for Trinity College, Dublin Forum

    Violations of the below rules are interpreted entirely at the discretion of the moderators.



    1. Advertising

    - Commercial advertising is strictly prohibited.
    - SU election advertising is also strictly prohibited (referenda topics are okay).
    - Regulation of the all other non-Commercial advertising shall be at the discretion of the moderators.

    2. Flaming and trolling

    - Posts containing personal attacks on people whether a Boards user or not will be edited/deleted.
    - A troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or deliberately off-topic messages looking for reaction. Repeat offenders will be warned, then banned.

    3. Spamming

    - Posts that are nonsensical will be deleted.
    - Multiple and cross posts will be edited/deleted/moved

    4. Discrimination

    - Posts containing objectionable content about any group of persons will be edited/deleted.

    5. General Provisions

    - Topics and post should be relevant to Trinity College, Dublin or Staff of Students thereof.
    - Replies should try to be on-topic. Although we understand that the nature of this Forum leads to off-topic replies and that off-topic replies can be entertaining it shall be at the sole discretion of the moderators as to how off-topic post will be dealt with.
    - Users should endeavour to ensure all posts are “College Safe”. Please use common sense when posting so as not to get anyone in trouble
    - Moderators’ decisions are final.
    - Notwithstanding anything in the Charter for Trinity College, Dublin Forum the Moderators reserves the right to take any action they deem necessary.
    - Any complaints about any moderator should be taken up via PM or on the Feedback Board. Any posts here will be deleted and potentially the user banned.
    - No users personal email address should be posted without prior concent, if done with malicious intent the user shall be banned.
    - No posts should be made in some religious context unless absolutely relevent to trinity and anything remotely related to religion is up to the mods discression.
