Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Well done Ray, would love to be able to hit sub 40.

    Excuse my greenness but how did the 6.8 miles yesterday fit in to todays plan. Do you feel that a shorter run would have left you with fresher legs or do you think it wasn't relevant to your effort today?

    It was only 6.8k, and most of it was at a very easy pace, so I don't think it would have had any effect on the race. Over the year so far... I don't know - maybe a few rest days would have been better for me than some of the light running days, it's hard to be sure. I know that keeping up the streak has been good motivation to get out and run sometimes.

    Well done on the sub 40. Great run.
    Funny thing this evening. I went for a jog up to cherryfield this evening and had some guy run after me shouting 'Knocklyon Runners, if you want to join a club'. fair play to him for active recruitment:)
