Hi guys,

Friend of mine is in her 50's and would like to join some kind of social group like book club in Clane or Naas but has no information about any of such associations. Could anyone provide any information that could help her to join one? It doesn't have to be a Book Club, anything.

Hi the local mass leaflet has lots of info of events, the library also is great. there is so much going on- musical society knitting, call into the book shop where the coffee shop is, good luck

Social Dancing (showbands etc) are back in Dowlings in Prosperous every Saturday night. It's in aid of rehab kildare and is a great night out for older people.

My mother joined a lawn bowls group in kill for a while ago, said it was great fun. also there are plenty of bridge groups around, that are welcoming to new people. not exact details but should be easy enough to find.
