Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyone using (or have used it) what are your opinions on material design for web use? thinking of redoing my blog with it?

    Hate it. Everything will just look the same as a google app if people use it. But on top of that, it's not a framework, just a set of guidelines so although it will all look the same, there wont be much uniformity.

    Angular JS Material is coming, but it's still in the early stages. I'm kind of hoping that by the time it's complete, the fad will be over.

    I know everything will look the same but for just a simple blog it could be ideal, anyway i will play with it some more and see how it works out.
