Its about 30K from the city so a taxi would might cost a bit much, did you check CIE to see if there is a bus to there on a sunday?

If you got the cork bus from Limerick it might be able to let you off at rourks cross and bruree is only about 2 miles from there, It might be an option for you?

is roukes cross a village would it be possible to get taxi from there the times for that bus are perfect

No - it's just a crossroads with a shop / garage. You could try calling a Charleville taxi from there, or else take the bus as far as Charleville and then get a taxi from there back to Bruree..

Rourke's x is closer to bruree than c'ville so cab fare will be lower.

TBH, if it was me, I'd get off the bus at O'Rourke's Cross and walk or hitch to Bruree - it's just 2.25km (about 30 to 35 minutes walking if not carrying bags etc), though I fully understand these options won't appeal to everyone... Good road for hitching though...

Well, if it is Bruree House, then that's about 1km south of the village which lengthens the walk...

    Map attached...
