Em, what? They do style cut and colour their hair - they may not show it off in public, but they can show it off to family and friends...
I'm not into forcing them to wear it if they don't want to, but let's not go overboard

Mate of mine likes to don the ol full metal burqua over her bikini when popping out to the shops (yes, she is Muslim). When I got all 'western outraged' she told me where to stick my outrage, it was her decision, was a lot bloody easier then getting properly dressed, and it keeps creepy men away - no more 'how you doing?' while trying to buy a bottle of milk.
A win-win as far as she was concerned.

She also enjoys buying packets of pork scratching while in the full kit. :D

Just had a look through the first ten links. Eight of them lead back to The Sun, one to The Scotsman, and one to a CNN report citing "British media". I think the Sun is just stirring shit, as usual.

I'm no scientist but would the gold leaf not bugger the microwave?

What do they use for fake gold leaf on cheaper books these days?

Why is Herr Ratzinger in his Emperor Palpatine costume on the far right (ironically enough :p), just below the middle?

Did the nazi-pope help found America?

Edit: Seriously, he's got glowing red eyes and everything. It's creepy as... well... as the pope, I suppose.
