    This post is about a free project, run by GIY Ireland (which is a registered charity).

    Would you like to grow some more of your own food but don't know where to start?
    Would you like your children to be more tuned in to where their food comes from?
    Would you like to have some family fun and grow some food along the way?
    Would you like us to help?

    At GIY, we want families all around Ireland to join us in this free programme to get families growing. Each month, for 6 months, we will send you an email with the latest project. Each project will be;
    • low cost
    • straightforward
    • productive (you get some tasty food at the end!)
    • involving the whole family
    You can even take part if you don't have a garden as all projects can be grown in containers!

    To sign up, click on the following link which will bring you to the signup form - http://eepurl.com/w4k25or visit the website at www.giyireland.com/giynation for more details.

    Here's what GIY Patron Ella McSweeney has to say about it - 'Sow it, Grow it, Eat it: three easy steps that will save your money, your time and your health! I'm thrilled to be part of Operation GIY Nation. Healthy, affordable fresh fruit and vegetables should be available to everyone and this is exactly what Operation GIY Nation is about: helping Ireland grow."

    Any questions, just post them here and I will get back to you.
