Hey there, I realise it's terribly late in regards to getting information, but maybe it could still help.

The online platform is grand, you can either live lecture things or you can just view the recordings at your leisure (Warning you will have to keep up with assignments regardless)

As for travel, you will have to attend examinations in the winter and summer.

Any other info you can ask away if you still require it.

Hey there, I am starting this course in two weeks. Just wondering what object oriented language is studied?

How did you find the course and work experience section? Is anyone else here doing this course/heading up next Friday for the induction? Thanks

Hey, I personally haven't done the Online course, I did a Level 7 in Web Dev and Creative Media and then a Level 8 in Software Development.

The course for me was grand, some times it seemed a little slow but that's because I had the tendency to work on it outside class.

The OOP Language is C# as far as I can tell (Checked the suggested reading materials)

The work experience is just that, I was lucky enough to actually get mine working in the IT Department of IT Sligo, but it's basically a 3 month internship in a computing environment (Or just continue with your current job if it meets the criteria)
