Ahhh a FF minister says something.... it MUST be true!

In all fairness, no one ever makes an acronym like this that flatters anyone.

The idea that the person who first thought up BIFFO meant it to mean "Big Inteligent Fellow From Offaly" is ludicrous.

    FF revisionism at its best!

    Ah wikipedia.

Basis for many a flame war.

    BIFFO FTW! LOL.

Sure he's said himself on telly what BIFFO really stands for. It's a generic Offaly term and not really his own personal moniker.

He's not ashamed of it, nor, I would imagine, are many from Offaly. The BBC are tools for misrepresenting the truth! Greg Dyke'll be getting an email from me*

    * Is Dyke still in charge at the Beeb?

O right, thanks. Silly me! Staring me in the face like..

I didn't even consider that the 'from' would be put into the acronym e.g. The United States of America isn't USOA.

    I get it now though!
