Focal points, i.e. the centre of the towns in question. I don't know where the bus stops are for some of the smaller ones.

One of the points mentioned by people is that if you put in a location, it doesn't always go to that exact location, sometimes the database is set up with a different location.

So, for example, with Douglas, if someone specifically inputs "Douglas" they are likely looking for somewhere within the solid black line, although in theory they could be looking for anywhere within the solid blue line - but that includes Rochestown, Maryborough, Grange, Donnybrook, Frankfield and along the dashed blue line, parts of Ballinlough. the journey planner returns a relatively obscure location in the middle of a housing estate.
