Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Galaxy S - Free games and movies promotion

    Has anyone else registered for the free promotion for £50 worth of movies and games? (6 Gameloft games and 3 movies from Samsung movies)

    Game voucher appears to work fine, but trying to use Samsung Movies seemed to be a bit of dead end as there was no Ireland option. I didn't try to run the registration any further as I didn't want to lock into a UK-only option or similar.

    Anyone had any success in getting movies to their phone?

    Site keeps sending back the date I enter as an error for some reason.

    Tried both ways, dd/mm/yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy. No good either way?

    I can't remember my purchase date, let alone my receipt number. Must go searching for it at the weekend.

    For the date issue just enter 01/02/2011 irrespective of when you purchased it

    Says my IMEI is not recognized. Is this open to any Galaxy s or just ones bought within the promotional period?

    EDIT:
    On reading the T&C's, it is only for phones purchased within the promotional period.
