Was in Vigo last week for a laid back coastal break in North West Spain. Flew iberia express via Madrid and was really impressed. Flights were cheap, especially for this time of year. Yes I had to connect in Madrid but that wasn't a big deal for me. Got 10% off for joining their club too. Flight price included 23kg checked…

Was in Vigo last week for a laid back coastal break in North West Spain. Flew iberia express via Madrid and was really impressed. Flights were cheap, especially for this time of year. Yes I had to connect in Madrid but that wasn't a big deal for me. Got 10% off for joining their club too.

Flight price included 23kg checked in bag and choice of seats as standard (not extra). When I landed in Madrid I got a text message and an email telling me my next gate.

Onboard food and drink choices were good and much cheaper than other airlines. The day after I arrived in Vigo I also got an email for a free snack and drink on my return flight.

Will fly them again without hesitation.

Only downside was short connection time in Madrid, would leave 90 minutes next time as it was quite a trek between gates
