I don't think this is on the list but it should be - Buck Godot, if you've a couple of hours to spare worth getting into.

The Order of the Stick is the best webcomic I have ever read. I've followed it for about 4 years now and it has never let me down.

It's a shame that prolonged exposure to Spazzmoid makes you go blind (and your palms hairy, from what I hear) isn't it Bob? ;)

First off Act-i-vate needs to be listed. If you haven't got Act-i-vate book marked and checking it every day, you should. It's a webcomic collective that started in '06 and has had a massive impact on the us comics scene.

Now after all that go check Seven Lies starting today on Act-i-vate. It's by Rami Efal whose not only super talented but also one of the super nice people in comics. You can also follow the making of the Graphic Novel on his flickr account

Here's some recommendations, aside from those already mentioned:

And of course, my own effort, The Cattle Raid of Cooley.

    Anyone read http://www.amazingsuperpowers.com

I know it's not the best comic ever and their eyes are weird but there's some very funny ones in there.

I found Looseville aaaages ago (probably through Mongrel, sometime back when that was around) but somehow managed not to list it here. It turns out that it's now sadly defunct. But on the plus side, its creator Alan Moloney is now doing a new webcomic, Wheel Spinning Hamster Dead, which you should all go and look at.

    Hey folks.

For any who don't know; Irish creators Dave Hendrick and Will Sliney have submitted their story, The Symptoms, to the monthly webcomics competition at Zuda Comics. If it wins it becomes an ongoing monthly story.

I urge you all to support the lads by checking out the story at the link below and giving it your vote. Polling is open only 2 more weeks!

    Beartato!
It's a about a bear who looks like a potato and his bird friend Reginald... 'nuff said!

SMBC is great, he's making a book soon I think.

I just noticed Gone With The Blastwave is down... guess he never was gonna update. :(

Also recommend Hark! A Vagrant, historical humour!

Just got introduced to this lovely webcomic, it's about a youngish couple and their ups and downs, really sweet and quite funny. If you click on the archives you can read it from the start! http://anderslovesmaria.reneengstrom.com

Don''t see XKCD mentioned, it's great - it has physics jokes but don't let that put you off :P
Also Qwantz.com is sooo funny. I laugh out loud everytime I read it.

Rainbow Orchid is good if you like Tintin.

http://www.jump-leads.com episodic sci-fi comedy which is also nice to look at.

Shame the Your Webcomic Is Bad and You Should Feel Bad blog is no longer on the internet. It had some good rants about what's wrong with Ctrl-Alt-Del and Single Asian Female (also gone but you can find some via Google).

Oh and Star Wars: The Cone Wars webcomics of varying quality if you're into that kind of thing. ;) You have to navigate Adobe Flash pages though.

I'd personally recommend Serious Emotional Disturbances, although it's gone on a lengthy hiatus, there's loads of comics already up for to read through.

    Hello all,

I don't know if I should be posting this here or in another forum, but I've finally gotten around to launching a website for the odd scribblings I like to sometimes call 'my comics'.

I'm kinda curious of what my fellow boardsies think of them.
    Here's a taster.

    http://www.rawrtacular.com
The site is in it's infancy (2 weeks up as of this post), so more is coming as well as another comic series.

    Enjoy! (I hope...)
