Was a bit of craic alright. How did the Q and A go? I had been up since 7am as I wanted to do Maraly Parkrun before the signing. After waiting for me at that and then for the signing my better half was understandable keen to get back home.

Wasn't in attendance for the whole Q&A but it was well received.

I think the Pubcast has some recordings from it.

And while not taking place on this fair Isle. It does involve a lot of homegrown heroes.
Orbital Comics in London are playing host to

With St. Patrick's Day on the horizon, we felt it was time to tell you about the upcoming Irish Invasion in the Orbital Gallery. That's right - Nick Roche, Stephen Mooney & PJ Holden will be displaying their wares - with a few contributions from special guest William Sliney too. If you haven't noticed the incredible influx (or is it outflow?) of Irish talent over the last few years, then you obviously haven't been paying attention. Ireland has been a hotbed for creativity - and these guys represent the cream of the crop. We're also pleased to announce that Nick Roche will be here with us for a very special signing on March 21 to open the show and get the ball rolling. So, come on down from 5pm for his signing followed by an early private viewing of the show - you won't be disappointed!

Nice. Any more word on what the structure is gonna be like? Panels and stuff or just an exhibition/ stalls?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,144 ✭✭✭MarkHall

Getting the feel it'll be Stalls and displays based on it happening inside a Shopping complex. They may do similar to the Big Bang events and try make use of local cinema. (If there is one) To do Panels/talks. But that's all Speculation.

well... Cork Comic Expo seemed to go down well.

I drove down and back (from Dublin) myself on Saturday and found it great to see such enthusiam for comics from joe public. I do wonder how much the timing of Age of Ultron helped but nevertheless the whole thing was really well received. Picked up quite a few books and found all of the Creators to be really nice and approachable, apart from the odd one or two but you get that everywhere.

Its a shame that We don't have a Con in Dublin this side of summer.
Whatever you think about MCM,good or bad, It was good having Summer Bookend with Cons last Year.

What's the general vibe with MCM this year? There were a fair bit of complaints last year, do you think it'll be well attended none the less?
