Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    First we get the XCOM2 announcement, now a semi-official teaser for F4 - this could be 2010 again for gaming :D

    Wouldn't really expect anything else from a game like this. Given that they will probably be increasing the size of the world dramatically and who knows what else it would be difficult to get it on everything. Same as witcher 3 and arkham knight.

    The teaser site went live early but its down now. Ign are expecting a trailer and more info at 3 O'clock and rumours of a 20-30 minute gameplay video at e3.

    Looks great,

    I hope it doesnt feel too much the same as fallout 3 though, but i imagine if the storyline and wandering experience is strong enough that wont matter.

    To be honest the new XCOM trailer has excited me alot more than this trailer. I am hopeful however.

    Possible. They did something similar with skyrim 11.11.11

    For a company with so many sequels, They sure do like 1's :D

    I'd recommend you also play through New Vegas. The one big criticism I have of Fallout 3 is that Bethesda don't (or didn't at least back then) "get" the Fallout world & it's wierd & wacky humour. Obsidian did when they made New Vegas. I hope that Bethesda have been educated on the error of their ways with regards Fallout 3.
    I'm also bit ambivalent about the whole flying airship thing in the official trailer. It's a bit too steam-punk looking and out of sorts with the game's history, which brings me back to my point about Bethesda not understanding the Fallout world. Vertibirds, yes, Old-school rockets and retro-crazy looking airplanes (as seen in New Vegas), yes. A steam-punk looking airship? no. Fallout is not steam-punk.

    it's actually some really cool lore too if you look into it :)


    edit: sorry meant to add this - narrated by Ron (War, War never Changes) Perlman - the second cinematic of Fallout:Tactics, the origin of the brotherhood and their airships :)

    Release date will surely be this year, given that you can already pre-purchase it on Steam, GMG etc.
