Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    What is the retirement age ? is it on the 65 birthday or the 66 birthday ? Thanks

    I had to retire at the end of the school year (end August) after I was 65. Pension does not become payable until age 66. I was not entitled to the interim pension payment but was granted a contrib oap. But that is just schools, don't know about other situations.

    Most people retire on their birthday, unless the lucky sods can go early (sobs quietly in corner)

    Self employed, no pension, so when I drop from exhaustion.
