    Hi All,

I have a vodafone USB dongle that is just lying in the press, I got a 48 Months sim and seen there data deals which seem very good.

Has anyone or heard of anyone using a 48 month sim in the vodafone dongle and know the settings I would have to change to set it up?

I dont think you can. I'd imagine it's locked so only Vodafone sim cards would work.

did that with 3 dongle, had to unlock it, fortunatelly there was a way of unlocking it via some 3rd party app
if your dongle is locked to voda, then you will need to unlock it first.

vodafone didn't used to lock their dongles, instead the software that the dongle installs is locked to vodafone, so in a lot of cases using a different dialer program will work, try windows own dial up networking.
