Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

During the Nazi period the Germans owned a house in the Terenure/Rathfarnham area. It is in the shape of a swastica. It still exists. People never believe me when I tell them this. Can you help me prove I'm not insane? :) Maybe you live in the Terenure/Rathfarnham area. Kind of non-interesting thing I found on Google…

lol @ the Belgian town that 'scrambled to dismantle a fountain' after realizing it looked like a swastika from above. Sure it's a symbol of peace in most places

if its used for racist things (skinheads/aryan brotherhood)... take it down, but if its not designed as an object of hate. leave it.

No it's not. I live beside it and it is definitely not built in the shape of a swastica.

THIS is a satellite photo of the said house, and as you can see it is NOT, I repeat NOT, shaped like a swastika and it never was, it's an urban myth, get over it ! :cool:

You've got a picture of an SS soldier as your sig. How do we know your not some sort of Nazi sympathiser and you're showing us a picture of just any old house in order to divert us from the real goings on there?

look at the pic ? it's a 1920s Art Deco style house. There was 'supposed' to be a swastika mosaiq on the hall floor like the one I posted earlier.

Trust me, it was NEVER shaped like a swastika, that's just urban myth bollox.
