Molière’s The Misanthrope
in a new version by Dante Black


Firedoor Theatre are pleased to present this immersive reworking of Molière’s satirical classic, with a modern Irish twist. The action moves from 17th century French society to an upstairs pub where musicians and poseurs hang out. Alceste, one of the most gifted songwriters of our times, can't stand the hypocrisies of the scene and let's us know exactly how he feels about it!
