the bane of my life im afraid of slim the feel of it is nasty !!and evey time isee a snail or slug i have to do a hugh circle around to avoid them

aaaargh lil buggers

anybody else like this or am i on my own here - (i hope not)

TOTALLY AGREE!

Ugh, I don't know what it is about them but they just make my skin crawl! I really don't get why people are so freaked out by spiders but can touch slugs and snails no bother, ugh, the slime off them... Making myself sick just thinking about them :/

Me too!!! Hate them! I stood on one when I was younger and it freaked me out! Still afraid!

OMG I thought I was the only one.....I also stood on one when i was younger, one of those big long green ones in my bare feet, ever since then i think that i cant stand to be near them. I'm getting shivers now just thinking about them.

I grew up on a farm and we used to leave our wellies outside the back door at night. One morning in summer I went out to help with milking had no socks as it used to be warm summers back then,think you can imagine what happened next,put foot into welly and squish between my toes,can still feel it to this day. Another time there was a mouse in welly,always checked afterwards!!

No serously I hate when they eat my cabbage and other veg.
I use a jam jar full off salty water and If I see one he goes for a swim.
Other wise the happy slug dance does wonders.

Oh gosh,im so glad I came across this thread,i thought I was weird having this phobia!lol like others I went outside in my bare feet when I was young and stood on one

something il never forget, I cant stand to be anywhere near them since..

Same here, I cant stand the feeling of them, it creeps me out,ugh. Same with frogs,green,slimy and I want to avoid them like the plague. Nasty creatures.....

their are dozens of them out my back
when i go out for a smoke i normaly stand on one by mistake and it just pops haha its like it exploudes haha
i dont mind them, but their nasty
hate spiders though, they make my skin crawl, i wouldnt jump away or act afraid of them i just dont like them touching me, if they do they meet my foot
