Might be of some interest.... starts Tuesday at 8pm on Sky1. The first episode (At your service) isn't amazing, but might be worth a watch as it continues.
An all-new documentary pulls into Sky 1 HD and follows various East Coast train employees as they keep one of the UK's busiest, most complex transport systems on track. The series follows the unsung heroes behind one of the UK's biggest railways. It's a mammoth operation offering long distance service to thousands of passengers every day.

A small army of dedicated ambassadors works 24/7 to keep everything on track. From bleary-eyed commuters to rowdy bachelor parties and boisterous footie fans to royal VIPs and devoted train spotters, they're used to dealing with the unexpected and it's their job to keep everything running full steam ahead.

So, alight here at Sky 1 HD from Tuesday 12th November to go on a journey behind the scenes of the world's oldest railway system with JR, Mark, Michelle, Nick and the East Coast crew as they work tirelessly to get the nation safely from A to B

It’s a carbon copy of the one the BBC did earlier this year (The Railway: Keeping Britain on Track), except the BBC one had a lot more Network rail content. The usual “we are all one big family and love working on the railway”, the obligatory retirement after 125 years of service, drunks on the train/drunks in the station and of course the crisis averted scene’s. Its fine, a bit brain dead TV.
