**New Charter - Read me first**

Standard boards.ie rules apply; these include, but are not limited to:

• No flaming, baiting or trolling in any form (sorry but we leave this to the dragons only)
• No posting links to illegal stuff (including how to get around geo coded services)
• All posts should be relevant & on topic
• Be courteous & civil at all times to everyone
• Never argue / point out rule violations on thread; report them instead and let a mod deal with it. Any commenting on thread about it or posting “reported” will be taken as back seat moderation
• A Mod decision is final, if you disagree with a decision feel free to take it to the pm level; if you’re still not happy, there is a Dispute Resolution Procedure you can follow. Don't argue with a mod on thread under any circumstances
• If you got a problem with the charter or how things are being Modded please Private Message (PM) the Moderator(s), PM the Category Mods and as a final resource post in the Feedback forum

In addition there are some forum specific rules you need to be aware about:

• People don't like spoilers; that means if you post anything that can be considered a spoiler from the books, interviews or other non TV related sources in any non spoiler flagged thread you will be carded
• Speculation on future episodes should be done in the "Future episode thread" and not in the specific episode thread; note saying "Wow after that fight how will person X survive?" is not really speculation and we will take a general open view but do try to limit it please
• All meme's should be posted in the relevant episode thread until Midnight Monday; Tuesday (GMT/BST) forward they will be moved to the general thread picture thread
• The non book thread is for any user who wishes to discuss what happened in the TV show and ONLY the TV show; this means if you reference anything from the books, Westeros.org, the additional DVD lore content, interviews, what your dog told you etc. will lead you to get carded
• Any speculation on the next season has to be done in the relevant "Speculation threads" or you will get carded
• Any muppetry (this is defined as any disrupting behavior not outlined above as decided by the mods) will be removed and possibly carded; this includes things such as txt speak, off topic posting, constantly complaining etc. and simply being a general pain in the behind

This means there will be the following standard threads:

• Episode X thread "Non book readers" - This is ONLY about the specific episode shown on TV! No information from any other source, interviews etc. are allowed to be posted with the one exception that SPOILER tagged lore from the DVD releases and interviews will be allowed in the thread. Such information has to directly relate to the episode however and be clearly marked as "DVD lore from Season X relating to matter Y
  Lore and conclusions go here
• Episode X thread "Book readers" - This is ONLY about the specific episode! No information from any interviews etc. are allowed to be posted but book related information is allowed as well as the lore from the DVDs. Anything relating to interviews can be posted with a spoiler tag.
• Speculation on season 7 "Non book readers" - This thread allows no spoilers and can only reference what was shown on TV; no other sources allowed except the DVD lore as per the episode based thread for non book readers!
• Speculation on season 7 "Book readers" - This thread allows spoilers from any source but anything that's not from the book / TV show has to be spoiler tagged and a brief non spoiler explanation to the spoiler (i.e. This is a spoiler about season 7 casting

You do have the possibility to create threads beyond this; these are only a set of threads that will be there for every season.

In addition anyone picking up 3 yellow cards will be banned from the forum for the current season; in case of serious enough transgressions the ban may come earlier than 3 cards
