Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    nope, I have an odd number of socks, I'm pretty sure scientists first invented tumble dryers as gateways to another world, there's a whole planet of single socks somewhere.

    Finally decided on an essay title for one of my modules. Turns out "you can do your essay on anything you want" makes for more difficult decisions than just being given a topic!

    i should do a "how to type properly with all your fingers" course

    i finally got up the energy to bring the dogs out but we only got down the road when i saw a stray/loose dog sniffing out...turned right back

    I type with 2 or 3 fingers- my speed is usually 50-60 WPM, but now I am doing a course that includes learning to type properly and my speed is between 15-20 WPM when I do it 'right.' Aaargh.
    I really should practice the piano now for a while but I'd really just prefer a nap. :o
